There seems to be a lot of misunderstandings about
WNF and the HRATV Club.

We do work with WNF when we have our rallies and a few do "trail Patrol".  The trail patrol checks for down trees, people having trouble with their equipment, or lost or in most cases, injured. No one writes tickets. That is all up the rangers, that's what they get paid to do.

The club does not have any pull with WNF, we cannot ask them to change the laws just because we want to.

How easy do you think it is to change laws on federal land, it takes panels of government people months to even think about changing laws, then it takes months or years after they have their meeting for anything to happen. This is not changed on the local level, it is on a much higher level.

So why do people think that our club could ever have the government change a law just because we wanted it.
(If we wanted)

Now with that being said, a lot of our members do not like the changes ether. We were told 3 years ago that they were looking at changing the helmet law, we have no input when they do this, they told us it would happen, they did not ask our opinion, they told us what they were going to do.

We do not like the beer with in 100 ft of the trail law, that means if we want to camp we cannot have any beer ether. If I am camping it is no one's business what I drink. So why would we as a club shoot our selves in the foot and ask to change the law ??

Any one that reads the paper or internet would know that the government does what it wants no matter what most of the people want.
